Q: Can you tell me how you feel before and after taking Extreme speaking
극한스피킹을 수강하시기 전과 후의 느낌을 말씀해주시겠어요?

A: Okay umm I was planning to go abroad during this break for practice my spoken English. But I changed my mind, I changed my plan to stay just in Korea. So this Extreme speaking training was my alternative. So ‘training’, this is the point I think, is not just another class. I mean we have to speak out more than 2,000 times a day and I have to make a presentation every day out of my story. Before taking this training I couldn’t make long speech like 2 minutes or 3 minutes but I could make sentence by sentence. I had problem of making long speech. Now, I can organize my ideas and also make it into paragraph, levels. So I think it helps much
원래는 이번 방학에 영어 말하기 연습을 위해 해외로 가려고 했습니다. 하지만 마음을 바꿨고 한국에 있기로 결심했죠. 극한스피킹은 제 대안이었습니다. ‘훈련’이라는 점이 다른 곳과 다른 것 같습니다. 매일 2,000번 가량 소리 내어 말로 떠들고, 마이 스토리를 통해 발표를 해야 하니까요. 이 수업을 듣기 전에 저는 2분, 3분 가량의 긴 말하기는 못하고 오직 문장 단위로만 말할 수 있었습니다. 긴 문장 말하기에 문제가 있었던 것이죠. 지금은 제 생각을 정리해서 문단 단위로 말들 수 있습니다. 그래서 아주 도움이 되었다고 생각합니다.


Q: What do you think is the biggest advantage of this program?
이 프로그램의 가장 큰 장점은 무엇입니까?

A: umm. As I told you before, we had to speak out more than 2,000 times. Actually after this speaking out, I was somewhat exhausted. But because of that I could…..how can I say….I could shorten my thinking time. I don’t have to take, now I don’t have to take so long time to translate my ideas from Korean into English.
이전에 말한 것처럼 매일 2,000번 가량 말을 해야 하는데, 실질적으로 다 하고 나면 정말 지칩니다. 그런데 그 덕분에 생각하는 시간을 줄일 수 있게 되었습니다. 이제는 생각을 한국어에서 영어로 변환하는데 많은 시간을 들이지 않아도 되게 되었습니다.


Q: Comparing this programs with other 학원’s program, why would you recommend this to others over other programs?
극한스피킹을 다른 학원의 프로그램과 비교하였을 때, 다른 이에게 다른 학원보다 저희를 추천하시겠습니까?

A: When we go to other academies in Korea we just learn some expressions in a day. Just practice two or three times with classmates. I think it doesn’t help so much. Umm I think when we learn spoken language, we have to speak out as much as possible and as a student who majors in other foreign language I’m sure that we have to do the way to speak out as much as possible to do the way to enhance our profess지ons. Because of that this training is really better than other academies
국내에서 다른 학원에 가면 그냥 하루에 표현 몇 개만 배우고 끝납니다. 그냥 두세 개를 다른 수강생들과 연습하고 끝나는데요. 제 생각에는 그다지 도움이 되지 않는 것 같습니다. 제 생각에 말을 배울 때는 최대한 말을 많이 해야 한다고 생각합니다. 그리고 다른 어학을 전공하는 학생으로서, 전문성을 기르기 위해 최대한 말을 많이 해보는 방향으로 해야 한다고 생각합니다. 이 때문에 극한스피킹이 다른 학원보다 정말로 좋다고 생각합니다.

A: Definitely I will, especially for my friends, many of my friends who study together with me. They also have same difficulty like me, they can make sentence but they can’t keep their long speech. Because I was so much helped by this program I will definitely recommend this program to my friends
당연히 할 것입니다. 특히 저와 함께 공부하는 제 친구들에게요. 그 친구들도 저와 같은 문제를 갖고 있습니다. 걔네 들도 문장단위로 말은 할 수 있지만 긴 말하기가 안되거든요. 나 자신이 극한스피킹을 통해 정말 많은 도움을 받았기 때문에 저는 당연히 제 친구들에게 추천할 것입니다.
